  • Luke Aull, CFP®

    Luke Aull is originally from Aiken, South Carolina. He is a graduate from The University of Tennessee. He graduated with honors pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Accounting with a French Minor which he obtained while studying at The Sorbonne University in Paris, France. Before joining Southwestern Investment Group, Inc., Luke was a manager with our parent corporation, The Southwestern Company, for 4 years.

    Luke is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and provides investment and financial planning. His specialty is providing sound, conservative, confidential and comprehensive investment advice to clients – to help them effectively and efficiently save for retirement, employ tax planning strategies and transfer their wealth.

    Luke has earned his Series 7, Series 66, and life and annuity insurance licenses. He is a registered representative with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. He has completed his Investment Management Consulting designation through Raymond James and earned the recognition in 2009 as a Raymond James Rising Star**. In addition, Luke attained Raymond James Executive Council in 2010, 2011, and 2012**. And Leadership Council in 2013**. Luke’s focus is helping his clients manage wealth through comprehensive financial planning with a specialty in fee-based* professional money management, tax planning strategies, and exceptional customer service.

    Most importantly when Luke isn’t helping pre-retirees and retirees with their finances he enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their three boys, Isaac, Micah and Asher.

    *Clients should periodically re-evaluate whether the use of an asset-based fee continues to be appropriate in servicing their needs. A list of additional considerations, as well as the fee schedule, is available in the firm’s Form ADV Part II as well as the client agreement.

    **Qualification is based mainly on assets under management, education, credentials and fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually.

  • Jennifer Herendon

    Jennifer is a Mt. Juliet, Tennessee native and she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. While finishing college Jennifer worked as intern for The Aull Wealth Group, some of her responsibilities included client operations, scheduling client meetings, preparing for client meetings, and processing client requests and paperwork.

    Jennifer was recently married to Dean Herendon on November 9, 2013. She and her husband recently bought a house in Mt. Juliet and they are very excited about planning for their future.

    Jennifer holds her Series 7, Series 66, and life/health insurance licenses. Jennifer works with clients through portfolio analysis as well as by developing a thorough understanding of their objectives in order to put together a framework to help them meet their financial goals. Jennifer also handles all of the trade submissions at The Aull Wealth Group, an Independent Practice.

    April specializes in client relations, case preparation and customer service and plays an integral role in creating a partnership between our clients and Southwestern Investment Group. Her role is to improve efficiency in order to provide more meaningful, timely and effective results to clients.

    Prior to joining Southwestern Investment Group, April gained customer relation and communication skills as the office manager for a McDonald’s restaurant franchise owner. April attended High Tech Institute, where she earned an associate of applied science degree in information technology and computer networking.

    April resides in Old Hickory, Tennessee, with her daughter, Katy, and miniature dachshund, Lucy. She spends her free time enjoying music, books and spending quality time with family and friends.
