Dobyns Wealth Team Sponsors the 2018 Men of Valor Breakfast
We are so happy to have been a Title Sponsor of the 2018 Men of Valor Breakfast. Men of Valor is a prison ministry committed to winning men in prison to Jesus Christ and discipling them. Their purpose is to equip them to re-enter society as men of integrity – becoming givers to the community rather than takers.
A tangible example of the work being done is seen in the numbers. The recidivism rate (the tendency of a convicted criminal to reoffend) for men who participate in programming both before release and up to a year afterward – is between nine and 15% – far lower than the state and national average of 70%.
“Being a Title Sponsor of this amazing program is just another example of Southwestern Investment Groups continued commitment to stay involved in our local community,” said Jeff Dobyns, President of Southwestern Investment Group. “It reinforces our desire to give back and to help these men rejoin society. We have been blessed by the ministry of Men Of Valor and want to help however we can.”
Jeff Dobyns is named one of the top Financial Advisors in the state of Tennessee according to Barrons Financial Investment News. Dobyns Wealth Team along with Southwestern Investment Group currently manages over $3.2 Billion in assets and is part of Raymond James Financial Services.

The rankings are based on data provided by over 4,000 individual advisors and their firms and include qualitative and quantitative criteria. Data points that relate to quality of practice include professionals with a minimum of 7 years financial services experience, acceptable compliance records (no criminal U4 issues), client retention reports, charitable and philanthropic work, quality of practice, designations held, offering services beyond investments offered including estates and trusts, and more. Financial Advisors are quantitatively rated based on varying types of revenues produced and assets under management by the financial professional, with weightings associated for each. Investment performance is not an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures often are influenced more by clients’ risk tolerance than by an advisor’s investment picking abilities. The ranking may not be representative of any one client’s experience, is not an endorsement, and is not indicative of advisor’s future performance.
